Rick and his wife, Lori, have raised their two sons in Oxford and remain active members of the community. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, has been the Oxford Parks and Rec Coach for Basketball and Baseball, and the Talawanda Middle School Basketball Coach. He proudly sponsors many community events, including the Oxford Community Foundation and Kiwanis. Rick graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. His hard work has awarded him the SVP Club Award, and he is an Ambassador Agency Qualifier.
